Problem: Retired people take resources from the economy and don't put anything in anymore. They get government entitlements through Social Security and Medicare, which the workforce subsidizes. Meanwhile, economic projections show that Medicare and Social Security will only get more and more expensive as the demographics change.
Solution: Eliminate the flu vaccine. Encourage consumption of fast food, donuts, coffee, cigarettes, and alcohol. Lower life expectancy means fewer benefits paid out to retired persons. I can't believe nobody else has thought of this.
